And so we enter another weekend, which means another tournament for the Magic.
This time we head out to Libertyville to play some teams we've never played before. It should make for an exciting weekend.
Hopefully, the boys can put it all together and bring home a medal. We'll just have to wait and see.

Turkey Tournament in Waukegan
The team traveled to Waukegan again this past weekend for a two day Turkey Tournament.
On Saturday, they won both their scheduled games with authority. The kids defense was very impressive as they shutdown both their opponents.
On Sunday, the team returned to Waukegan to play their final two games. The first game was a blow out. Our team was up 20-0 before the other team even scored some points. Our players were very aggressive in their style of play. The second game of the day was the championship game. We were facing an older, and much taller, team that had beat all their opponents by an average of 25 points. Our boys were in for a challenge. It was a hard fought game every second, but in the end, we lost by 12 points. The other team was just bigger, and more talented. However, our coaches were extremely pleased with how our kids were not intimidated by the other team and play aggressively all game. The scoreboard may not have shown a victory, but the boys finished this game as better players - and that's a victory in our minds.
